At Sir James Douglas we are proud of the programs we offer our students. Classroom teachers deliver the core programs according to the British Columbia Learning Outcomes. Supplementary programming is offered by specialized educational staff.

Music Program: All kindergarten to Grade 5 students have the opportunity to experience a weekly, enriching program led by our music teacher, Mrs. Paula Lockwood.

Library Program: Each week, all students in kindergarten to Grade 5 visit our teacher-librarian, Mme Lauren Jong,  for stories, projects and book loans.

Strings Program: A strings program is offered to all Grade 5 students twice weekly by Mrs. Barb Eadie.  Students are encouraged to participate in this music opportunity. No previous experience is necessary.
